In this talk, I will present the SubHalo Abundance Machine extended model (SHAMe), a state-of-the-art galaxy population model capable of reproducing galaxy clustering in real and redshift space. This method uses a low-resolution gravity-only simulation and it includes orphan and tidal disruption prescriptions for satellite galaxies, and a flexible amount of galaxy assembly bias. Furthermore, it includes recipes for star formation rate (SFR) based on the dark matter accretion rate. I will show the performance of this model when reproducing the galaxy clustering of complex galaxy formation models (such as Semi-Analytical models and hydrodynamic simulation) and observations. I will also show how this model can simultaneously reproduce galaxy clustering and galaxy-galaxy lensing, proving that this method does not have the so-called «lensing-is-low» problem. I will end this talk by showing the capacity of this model to constrain cosmological information from galaxy clustering.
