What matter(s) around galaxies? – Sebastian Lopez (Universidad de Chile)

I will provide an overview of the circumgalactic medium and present novel results obtained using the «gravitational-arc tomography technique» developed by our ARCTOMO group. I will then outline the objectives of an ongoing ESO Large Programme, which will quadruple the existing tomographic data.
