Cosmology with galaxy surveys has matured to an era of precision science. Galaxy clustering can now tightly constrain the expansion history of the Universe through measurements of baryon acoustic oscillations, while redshift-space distortions can probe the growth rate of cosmic structure at different epochs with ever-increasing precision. However, much information is yet to be extracted from galaxy maps on non-linear scales. Ensuring we can retrieve all information from galaxy surveys will be a key factor in answering fundamental questions in cosmology, such as the nature of dark energy, inflation, neutrinos, potential extensions to the Standard Model, and the connection between dark matter haloes and galaxies. I will discuss how we can use summary statistics beyond the power spectrum to address these questions using current and upcoming galaxy surveys, including SDSS, DESI, and Euclid.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":[],"categorias_charlas":[60],"class_list":["post-2709","charlas","type-charlas","status-publish","hentry","categorias_charlas-colloquium"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
