The SMC is the smaller sibling of the two and is the one that has been most affected by the interactions of the two galaxies, this talk will be focused on the study of its structure and dynamical state. First, I will show the advanced stage of tidal disruption of the SMC using spectroscopic observations from the AAT paired with Gaia DR2 proper motions.
